One Thing: Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Get It Here
"Mirror, Mirror On The Wall" by AnomieCoalition

Once, when I was a kid, my older brother woke up from a nightmare, walked downstairs only to realize that he was still dreaming, trapped in a nightmare where our father was shaving of slabs of his arm and frying them up for our breakfast. One thing I love about this One Page Dungeon is that if feels sort of like that. This one is brutal, pitting the party against identical copies of themselves. The only advantage they have is that one party member is not "copied", so the odds tilt in their favor. I'm not going to lie to you, this adventure is a head trip, with twists that I may not have completely followed correctly, but things certainly go from bad to worse all the way through to the end. This one is super creepy in a way that an adventure featuring a powerful necromancer should be.

Recyclopse

The Recyclopse has been cobbled together with an assortment of obsolete components, and yet still manages to function. By function I mean hunt you down and delete you.

This opponent can, under the right circumstances, become a salvage or "loot" card that can be used to help defeat a much more challenging foe or even another "player".

One Thing: The Tower of Jade

"The Tower of Jade" by Andrew and Heleen Durston

One thing I love about this One Page Dungeon is that hidden beneath its colorful design and nonthreatening title, there is some pretty intense survival horror stuff going on. I didn't realize this at first, but by the time I finished reading the adventure, I really wanted to run a group of players as zero level miners through this one. It is definitely fantasy, but this adventure would be at home in a sci fi setting as well.  The fact that the monsters entombed in the jade tower appear human but can shift into were-insects adds to the tension and creepiness factor (for the players).
